The size of the gap is established in each case on the basis of calculations of the dispersion of air pollution and physical factors (noise, vibration, etc.). In order to minimize the damage that can be done by building a motorway at a specific site, it is necessary to approach the process of designing sanitary protection zones on the basis of an objective analysis and current calculations.
