The history of the development of the information support system in the field of land management in the Russian Federation is inextricably linked with the history of land management and land cadastre, including the processes of accounting and registration of land. Each stage of the development of the information support system in the field of land management was determined by the socio-economic conditions and needs of society, both in the Russian Federation and in foreign countries.
