This work is devoted to the economic justification of the organization of potassium chloride production by the “dissolution-crystallization” method. The technological scheme of processing of sylvinite, including the stages of leaching, thickening, vacuum crystallization, filtration, drying, and purification of exhaust gases, is considered. The calculation of the effective working time fund (8177 h), the annual capacity for raw materials (1 283 789 t of sylvinite) and the finished product (422 424 t of potassium chloride) is performed. The costs of raw materials and supplies were determined to be 6.608 billion rubles, including silvinite, water, natural gas, and polyacrylamide. The capital investment was estimated, including the estimated cost of the chemical processing plant buildings, the drying plant, and the vacuum pump plant, as well as the cost of equipment. The total capital investment amounted to 120.5 million rubles, with the equipment accounting for 74.99%. Depreciation charges were calculated. The number of personnel has been determined: 274 main and auxiliary workers, as well as engineering and technical personnel. The annual payroll with deductions exceeds 225 million rubles. The calculation of energy costs for technological and power needs, lighting, heating, and water supply has been performed, with a total amount of 660.3 million rubles. The cost of producing 1 ton of potassium chloride is 18,468.54 rubles. The payback period for capital investments is 1.1 years, indicating the high economic efficiency of the proposed production.
