ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF USING THE KUBAN-LK1 CIRCULAR SPRINKLER WITH AN IMPROVED RUNNING SYSTEM

Abstract:
The article discusses the actual problem of reducing the efficiency of wide-range multi-support circular sprinkler machines (DM) in the conditions of Russian agriculture, using the example of the Kuban-LK1 model. The key reason for the negative trends (decreased yields, increased energy consumption, soil degradation) is the intensive formation of deep ruts by the heavy running system, which is especially evident during long-term operation of machinery. To solve the problem, an integrated approach is proposed and justified, combining the equipping of DM with disk leveling devices and the subsequent optimization of the parameters of the driving system itself. The results of a theoretical analysis of the balance of power and forces resisting trolley movement are presented, showing significant reserves for reducing energy consumption (up to 30%) by reducing rolling losses. The effectiveness of a specially designed leveling device has been experimentally confirmed, which ensures high-quality alignment of the track, increasing the bearing capacity of the soil for subsequent passes. This creates conditions for the modernization of the chassis, including through the use of more narrow-profile tires. The economic assessment of the proposed measures demonstrates a significant effect. The total savings per machine exceed 840 thousand rubles and consist of a reduction in capital investments (cheaper machines and conductive cables) and an increase in income due to the release of acreage and increased yields. The conclusions of the work indicate the technical and economic feasibility of implementing the proposed solutions to extend the service life of the sprinkler equipment fleet and increase the efficiency of irrigated agriculture.
