The article presents the results of a study based on data collected by the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation. The increase in the commissioning of individual housing is monitored, which is growing from year to year. More people are deciding to build a house at their own expense, the standard of living is growing [1] . If in 2010 the population built 25.5 million square meters of housing, then in 2022 this figure amounted to 57.2 million square meters [2]. The largest percentage of the construction of their homes in the twenty-second year falls on the Central Federal District and is thirty-one percent. Over the past ten years, four regions in the Russian Federation have shown significant growth in the commissioning of individual houses by the population, these are the Moscow Region (54%), the Leningrad Region (54%), the Krasnodar Territory (53%) and the Chechen Republic (43%). Wooden houses of industrial and frame manufacture are becoming leaders. There is also an understanding that the main argument at the moment when choosing a material for walls during the construction of a house is the cost-effectiveness of the material. Housing built on the basis of frame technology is in the most advantageous position at prices [3,4]. Considering that the construction of individual houses will only grow, and may reach 70 or 90 percent of all newly commissioned housing, as it was at the beginning of the twentieth century in Russia, then wooden houses of industrial manufacture will become out of competition in terms of cost and production time.
